10 Years of Braziwi

Where it all began

On 31 January 2016, during Brazilian Day, Braziwi was born.

At the time, it was simply a dream rooted in Brazilian culture, textures, warmth, colour, and the feeling of home. There was no perfect plan or clear roadmap, only a strong belief in quality, craftsmanship, and creating pieces with soul.

 

The journey — real, slow, and intentional

The past 10 years have not been linear or easy.

Like any small business, there were moments of doubt, learning, rebuilding, and starting again.

But there was also growth.

Trust.

Connection.

Seeing Braziwi pieces find their place in beautiful homes across New Zealand has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

What Braziwi stands for

Braziwi was never about fast fashion or following trends.

It was built slowly, intentionally, and with deep respect for:

• people

• and the stories behind every product

That philosophy has guided the brand for 10 years  and it remains unchanged.

Today, I feel deeply grateful.

To every stockist who trusted my work.

To every conversation, message, and order that helped shape this brand.

And quietly, gratitude to myself, for not giving up.
